Jack-off Journal #18

[Content note: incest, menstrual blood, consensual non-consent.] April 2014 Sit down, friends. I would like to talk to you about incest. I’ve slyly alluded to it before, but this month marks the discovery of something glorious: New Sensations’ “Tabu Tales” series. Directed most of the time by the fantastic and nuanced Jacky St. James, this series is everything I never knew I wanted, and I LOVE IT. My obsession began with Incestuous, in a scene featuring cheerleader Riley Reid and her “stepfather” Alec Knight. Riley is a boss at playing down her age (she even moans “oh gosh”), and Alec, well… he’s the ultimate creep. I seem to be developing a thing for creepers. Don’t tell any dudes on the internet. Please. I may or may not have quickly . . . read more

Hell Yes: Alice

Hell Yes: Alice

I don’t even really know the plot of Alice in Wonderland, and yet Erica McLean and Carlos Batts’s upcoming porno Alice is making me, um, very excited. I’ve known about Alice since December, and will periodically watch the trailer and get myself amped up all over again. It’s one of the most badass porn trailers ever made. Go watch it. I mean, seriously — Evan Stone as the Mad Hatter (obvs!), Sunny Lane as Alice (aw!), April Flores as the Queen of Hearts (genius!)… and a bunch of other hotties that I enjoy watching quite a bit. I know Erica McLean is capable of awesome things — just look at the costuming in Hardcore Circus and you’ll see. Judging by the . . . read more

Review: Bordello

Review: Bordello

It’s the last day of Courtney Trouble week! Yesterday: Roulette Berlin. This shall excite you: Bordello is basically Clue porn. There is a murder, a selection of murder weapons, and a dramatic reveal at the end. It’s only 58 minutes long, but its composition and scope make it feel much more epic than any other Courtney Trouble film of the past. And everything — from the costumes to the set to the lighting — is done with a more exacting eye than ever before. Bordello is hot as hell, really and truly, but it’s also deliciously subversive: its performers play with the theme of sexualized violence, using that violence and its objects (a gun, a knife) to embody queer experience. . . . read more

Review: Nostalgia

Review: Nostalgia

It’s day two of Courtney Trouble week! Yesterday: Roulette. Tomorrow: Speakeasy. Besides having one of the most kickass porno titles of all time, Nostalgia is porn with purpose: to re-create “Golden Age” porn movies (Behind the Green Door, Deep Throat, The Devil in Miss Jones) and queer them. Nostalgia is more movie-like than Roulette, and thankfully does not have music videos wedged between the scenes. Footage of Trouble and Pepper Sox ties the film together; they are watching (on a laptop, duh) the porn that we see. In the end, they collide with the porn and become it. There is a dream-like atmosphere to Nostalgia, and this makes the film both very interesting and very frustrating. Oftentimes, the action has . . . read more

Review: Belladonna's Strapped Dykes

Review: Belladonna’s Strapped Dykes

There will be squirting, tons of it — onto faces, asses, assholes, sheets. There will be spitting, punching, smothering, choking. There will be feet in mouths and feet in vaginas. There will be a toe in a butt. There will be amazing sex toys. And then there will be me — trying to keep myself from having an orgasm every five minutes. That’s pretty much all you need to know about Belladonna’s Strapped Dykes, but okay, fine, I guess I’ll try to review it. The tagline of Strapped Dykes is “real porn girls with real dykes,” but of course that’s just a gimmick. All the performers in Strapped Dykes are people who do porn on a regular basis. They may . . . read more

More real than usual

More real than usual

Ignore the fact that there has not been a product like this until now, friggin’ 2008, because then we can all be excited. Behold: a fake vulva molded from the body of pornstar April Flores. It’s not on the market yet, but should be in a few months. Until then, April posted some sexy photos from her visit to Topco to ogle the prototype. I’m actually impressed by the packaging, or what I can read of it. The front of the box calls the toy a “Voluptuous Cyberskin Pussy,” which is frankly a much better description of the toy than I was expecting. Of course it does insist upon prefacing the pussy with a generally accepted adjective, but it could . . . read more
